'Gauges Galore: The many and various railways of the Hampton and Kempton Waterworks', by Bob Bond
200 pages, A5. Published for and sold by the Hampton and Kempton Waterworks Railway Limited. Available from rbond15311@aol.com, ₤13 including UK postage

Bob Bond is a volunteer on the Hampton and Kempton Waterworks Railway which is recreating the 2-foot gauge steam-hauled Metropolitan Waterboard Railway that brought coal from the Thames-side Hampton wharf to both sets of waterworks that are three miles apart.

Bob has done substantial original research and overturns several 'truths' about the history of that railway. His research has also uncovered the forgotten existence of some standard gauge railways on the sites, and also surprisingly a 2 foot 6 inch railway and a 3 foot 6 inch railway.

The book includes many rare photographs.
